Noida: On Day 5 of Uttar Pradesh Kabaddi League Season 2, Ganga Kings of Mirzapur secured their first victory of the season with a thrilling 44–42 win over JD Noida Ninjas at the Noida Indoor Stadium. Amit Nagar was named Raider of the Day for his match-winning performance.
The contest began on an even note, with both teams trading points. JD Noida Ninjas took control in the first half through aggressive raiding, building an eight-point lead by halftime, led by an impactful display from Rachit Yadav.
The momentum shifted dramatically after the break as Ganga Kings mounted a strong comeback. A crucial super raid that eliminated three defenders ignited the turnaround, followed by an all-out that narrowed the gap. Maintaining sustained pressure, Ganga Kings eventually seized the lead. In the closing moments, Amit Nagar delivered vital raid points to hold the advantage and seal the win.
