Addressing the gathering, Meira Kumar described Bhojpuri as the pride of Bihar and appreciated the initiative of bringing Bhojpuri-speaking people together on a common platform. The organizer of the event, Shivji Singh, National President of Purvanchal Ekta Manch Delhi, stated that the main objective of the conference is to secure inclusion of Bhojpuri—spoken by over 250 million people—into the Eighth Schedule of the Indian Constitution, as well as to unite Bhojpuri speakers globally.

Several prominent personalities attended the conference, including Bijwasan MLA Kailash Gehlot, Veer Kunwar Singh Foundation President Nirmal Kumar Singh, Patna University Vice Chancellor Ajay Kumar Singh, senior litterateur Prof. Gurucharan Singh, and Dr. Harendra Singh. Eminent figures associated with the Bhojpuri language from across India and abroad also participated.

The conference is being organized with significant support from the Maithili-Bhojpuri Academy of the Delhi Government.
