Checking Aadhaar status is very simple:

Visit the official UIDAI website, enter your Aadhaar number, request an OTP, and you will immediately know whether your Aadhaar is active or deactivated.
2. Using the mAadhaar App
If you can log into the mAadhaar app successfully, it indicates that your Aadhaar is active.
3. Through Resident UIDAI Portal
You can directly verify Aadhaar status using the Resident UIDAI services portal.
4. Via UIDAI Helpline
If you prefer offline assistance, call UIDAI helpline 1947 to get your Aadhaar status.
Why Did UIDAI Deactivate These Aadhaar Numbers?
UIDAI has stated that the mass deactivation was done primarily to prevent the misuse of Aadhaar belonging to deceased individuals.
