Greater Noida News: Greater Noida is set to host Uttar Pradesh’s largest trade fair, the UP International Trade Show (UPITS-2025), from September 25 to 29, 2025. This will be the third edition of the highly successful event, following the first two editions held in 2023 and 2024. UPITS-2025 is expected to draw thousands of traders, buyers, and entrepreneurs from across India and abroad, facilitating business deals worth billions of rupees.
Five-Day Mega Event in Greater Noida
Organized at the India Expo Centre and Mart, UPITS-2025 aims to showcase the strength and diversity of Uttar Pradesh’s industries across various sectors. The event will run for five days, making it the state’s most ambitious and largest trade show to date.
🇮🇳 Massive Roadshow Held in Delhi for Promotion
To promote UPITS-2025 and attract international and domestic participation, the Uttar Pradesh Government, in collaboration with India Exposition Mart Ltd (IEML), organized a major roadshow on July 4, 2025, in New Delhi. Held under the theme “Ultimate Sourcing Begins Here”, the event focused on attracting buyers and investors in sectors like:
- MSME
- Electronics and IT
- Handloom and Textiles
- ODOP (One District One Product)
- Khadi and Village Industries
- Food Processing
- Automobiles and EVs
- Renewable Energy
- Traditional Handicrafts

The roadshow was presided over by UP Cabinet Minister for MSME, Khadi & Village Industries, Silk, Handloom, and Textiles, Mr. Rakesh Sachan. Other notable attendees included:

Speaking at the event, Minister Rakesh Sachan highlighted Uttar Pradesh’s transformation into a hub of growth, entrepreneurship, and global connectivity. He emphasized that UPITS-2025 is not just a product exhibition but a global platform for MSMEs, artisans, and industrial sectors of the state. From traditional crafts and handlooms to advanced sectors like electronics and renewable energy, UPITS represents a unique blend of heritage and innovation.
He added that the rising exports from all 75 districts of the state and growing international interest show how Uttar Pradesh is building strong global linkages. UPITS is now a powerful medium turning local excellence into global reach, creating sustainable partnerships among buyers, investors, innovators, and producers.

Mr. Alok Kumar remarked that Uttar Pradesh is rapidly progressing and now boasts a platform like UPITS to highlight its industrial and cultural strengths. It connects local businesses to global markets, contributing to India’s trillion-dollar economy vision.
Dr. Rakesh Kumar emphasized that UPITS will spotlight high-potential sectors and products from across the state. Dr. Ajay Sahai noted that special programs and financial support for foreign buyers have been arranged, making UPITS a premier sourcing destination for both domestic and international buyers.
Upcoming Roadshows Across India
The Delhi roadshow is part of a nationwide campaign to promote UPITS-2025 and boost participation. Following Delhi, more roadshows are planned in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Ahmedabad, aiming to connect with sourcing consultants, institutional buyers, exporters, and trade organizations across India.
