January 10, 2026, Noida: The final day of the league stage of Uttar Pradesh Kabaddi League (UPKL) Season 2 witnessed a historic, record-breaking night at the Noida Indoor Stadium, as multiple league records were shattered during the clash between Lucknow Lions and Ghaziabad Gazab.
Lucknow Lions delivered a completely dominant performance, registering a massive 87–36 victory, the highest-scoring match in UPKL history to date. The one-sided result reflected Lucknow’s relentless attacking intensity, clear tactical execution, and firm control throughout the contest, with the team maintaining constant pressure in both halves.
The highlight of this unforgettable night was an extraordinary individual performance by Lucknow Lions’ star raider Shivam Chaudhary. Shivam created history by scoring 43 raid points in a single match, setting a new UPKL record for the most raid points by any player in one game.
