Ghaziabad: Located along the Delhi–Meerut Expressway, Wave City has emerged as one of the most preferred high-tech and “future-ready” smart cities in the Delhi-NCR region. Spread across nearly 4,200 acres, this pre-certified Platinum-rated green township is being rapidly developed using IBM’s smart technologies and a master plan designed by AECOM.
Thousands of investors have now become permanent residents, and the township has become a hotspot for new homebuyers and investors. To strengthen security and urban services, Wave City has launched an advanced Integrated Command and Control Center (ICCC). This enables 24/7 CCTV surveillance, a smart electricity grid, and automated water management, all of which can be monitored and controlled through a mobile app.
Residents say that the 6.5-acre Central Park is the heart of their community. One resident remarked, “Amid the concrete jungle, it’s almost impossible to find such a spacious, safe, and open green area anywhere else in Delhi-NCR.” Another resident praised the township’s connectivity, saying that they can reach their office in Noida in just 20 minutes, without getting stuck in traffic, thanks to the expressway.
The township also offers excellent educational and healthcare facilities. Hi-Tech World School is located within the township, while DPS Wave City is nearby. For medical care, residents have access to Manipal Hospital, a multi-specialty hospital just minutes away.
From a real estate perspective, property prices in Wave City have witnessed record-breaking growth. The launch of premium residential projects such as SKA Divine and Gaur NYC, along with the Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) approving the development of Phase 2, has led to a significant increase in the prices of multi-storey apartments.
