Panic spread across the national capital on Wednesday morning after Delhi University’s two major colleges—Ramjas College and Deshbandhu College—received an email threatening a bomb blast. Acting swiftly, the Delhi Police evacuated both campuses as a precautionary measure.
Police Launched Immediate Search Operation
As soon as the threat email came to light, the Delhi Police switched to high alert.
A bomb squad and dog squad were rushed to both college campuses. For safety reasons, the entire buildings were evacuated, and students and staff were moved to secure locations.
Police and security agencies conducted an extensive search, scanning every part of the premises to rule out any potential danger.
No Suspicious Object Found
According to the latest updates, despite the intensive search operation, no suspicious item or explosive material has been found so far.
Police have now begun investigating the source of the threatening email and identifying the individual or group behind it. Officials stated that strict legal action can be taken against those responsible for such hoax threats.
