Bomb Threats Reported Again in Several Delhi Schools; Police and Fire Teams Deployed

National Desk: At least three schools in Delhi, including Sardar Patel Vidyalaya and Salwan Public School, received bomb threat emails on Monday morning, prompting an immediate response from multiple security agencies and triggering extensive search operations on the premises.

According to an official from the Delhi Fire Services (DFS), school authorities alerted the fire department and police soon after receiving the threats. Teams from the local police, bomb disposal squad, dog squad, and fire department were swiftly deployed to the affected schools.

The DFS official stated that the department received emergency calls from at least two schools. As a precautionary measure, all students and staff were safely evacuated while security personnel carried out thorough inspections of classrooms, corridors, and surrounding areas.

Officials confirmed that no suspicious objects have been found so far.

In a message sent to parents, Sardar Patel Vidyalaya informed that students had been safely evacuated following the security threat. The school stated, “The school received a security-related threat this morning. Police authorities are present on campus to carry out necessary safety measures. All students have been safely evacuated.”
