There are reports that Kiara Advani has walked out of Don 3 after pregnancy news, and new actress Sharvari is now set to take her place in the Farhan Akhtar-directed movie.
“Sharvari and one other actress were up for it, but she’s got the part. The team is thrilled to have her onboard,” disclosed a source. “Sharvari is also excited to be part of such a big franchise. Although Don 3 and Alpha both have action-oriented roles, this one allows her to try something new.”
Initially, Don 3 was going to star Ranveer Singh and Kiara Advani in leading roles. However, after the pregnancy announcement made by Kiara earlier this year, news broke that she chose to leave the project to give her personal life attention. A source from Pinkvilla said Kiara opted out of Don 3 to make way for this new phase in her life.
Production on Don 3 will reportedly start later this year.
Sharvari, who is fresh from her success in Munjya, has been busy working on Alpha, which is being directed by Shiv Rawail and co-starring Alia Bhatt. Talking about the project, Sharvari replied, “I adore doing action films and always wanted to do one. When Alpha came along, I grabbed the opportunity. It feels like I’m living that dream, finally.”
