Acharya Prashant Returns After Sharing India’s Philosophy with the West

Philosopher and author Acharya Prashant has returned to India after completing the second and busiest phase of his Britain tour. During his visit, he spoke at leading institutions, including Cambridge University, Oxford University, University College London (UCL) and the London School of Economics (LSE). He also interacted with renowned scholars, addressed sessions at the British Parliament, met PETA leaders, and spoke at several public events.

Speaking to the media at IGI Airport, Acharya Prashant said his aim was to introduce the West to India’s true philosophy and spiritual wisdom. He said, “Material attainment is necessary, but not sufficient.” According to him, while the West has achieved great material progress, people there are now looking for inner peace and a deeper meaning in life.

He also conducted a special session on the Bhagavad Gita at the historic St Giles-in-the-Fields Church in London, where many local attendees listened with great interest.

Acharya Prashant said that love is life’s greatest priority and truth is the highest mission. He also announced that the third phase of his Britain tour is planned for September-October, when he will accept several invitations that could not be accommodated during this visit.

Acharya Prashant is an IIT Delhi and IIM Ahmedabad alumnus, founder of the PrashantAdvait Foundation, and one of the world’s most influential living thinkers.
