New Delhi: Amara Raja Energy & Mobility Limited, the manufacturer of Amaron Batteries, in association with its authorized franchise partners and the Federation of Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar, Delhi, organized a three-day health and awareness campaign at Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar. The campaign, being conducted from August 17 to 19, aims to promote the health of truck drivers, eye care, road safety, and greater efficiency in fleet operations.
As part of the campaign, a free health and eye check-up camp was organized, where more than 500 people underwent health screenings. Through this initiative, truck drivers were made aware of the importance of regular health check-ups and eye care so that they can carry out their work safely while maintaining better health.
Along with health check-ups, the campaign also includes technical inspections of trucks. Awareness sessions are being conducted for transporters and fleet owners on topics such as reducing operating costs, improving fleet management, increasing vehicle efficiency, and enhancing profitability.
This is one of the reasons why Amaron batteries are considered a preferred choice by millions of truck owners across India.
The campaign began with a Transporters’ Meet, where important issues related to the transportation sector, road safety, and fleet operations were discussed. The initiative provided a common platform for various stakeholders from the industry to discuss health, safety, and operational challenges faced by the transportation sector.
On the occasion, Manish Tuli, spokesperson and Head of Sales at Amara Raja, said:
“The collaboration between the Federation’s leadership and Amara Raja’s industry expertise provides transporters, fleet owners, and drivers with a common platform to work toward a safer, more efficient, and sustainable transportation system. Our effort is to understand the health and operational needs of the transportation community and provide them with practical solutions. Amara Raja remains committed to continuing such meaningful initiatives with the transportation community in the future.”
The three-day campaign is an important initiative aimed at promoting health awareness, road safety, and better fleet management among the transportation community. Through such collaborative programs, Amara Raja aims to encourage a safer and more sustainable transportation system for transporters, fleet owners, and drivers.
