Delhi Residents Alert! Water Supply to Be Disrupted Tomorrow – Check the Full List

The Delhi Jal Board (DJB) has announced that water supply in several parts of Delhi will be affected on February 10 due to annual flushing and maintenance work of underground reservoirs and booster pumping stations.

According to DJB, this essential maintenance may lead to low water pressure in some areas, while water supply may be completely suspended in others. Residents have been advised to store sufficient water in advance to avoid inconvenience.

Areas Likely to Face Water Supply Disruption on February 10

Water supply may remain reduced or completely shut in the following areas:

Vipin Garden, Nawada Housing Complex, Siddharthi Enclave, Jain Road, Sheesha Godown Road, Rama Park, Bhagwati Garden, Sainik Vihar, Raksha Enclave, Diwan Estate, Laxmi Vihar, Tilak Enclave, Defence Enclave, Gurudwara Road, and several nearby localities.

The Delhi Jal Board has clarified that water tankers will be arranged in case of emergency. The department has expressed regret for the inconvenience and requested residents’ cooperation.


Mumbai Also Faces Water Supply Disruption, 30-Hour Shutdown Announced

Along with Delhi, residents of Mumbai will also face water-related inconvenience. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has announced a 30-hour water supply shutdown starting from 2:00 AM on February 12 to 8:00 AM on February 13.

This shutdown is part of a major upgrade of the water supply network. The impact will be mainly felt in eastern suburbs, particularly in M East Ward areas 146, 147, and 148, and M West Ward areas 154 and 155.

Residents in the affected areas have been advised to store adequate water in advance.
