Massive Fire in Delhi’s Sangam Vihar: 4 Dead, Several Injured

National Desk: A major accident occurred on Saturday evening in Delhi’s Sangam Vihar area. A massive fire broke out in a four-storey building, killing four people and leaving several others injured. According to initial reports, the fire started from a shoe shop located on the ground floor and spread throughout the building within minutes.

How Did the Fire Start?

According to the information, Delhi Police received a call about the fire at 6:24 PM from Block-B, Tigri Extension. Police and fire brigade teams immediately rushed to the spot. When they arrived, they found that the entire four-storey building was engulfed in flames, and the fire had originated from the shoe shop on the ground floor.

Four People Dead

The fire was brought under control by around 8 PM. The exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined. The injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital, and an investigation is underway to identify what caused the blaze.

Police have confirmed the identities of two of the deceased—Satendra, the owner of the building, and his sister Anita. The identities of the other two victims have not yet been established.
