Netflix Unveils Nadaaniyan Trailer: Ibrahim Ali Khan & Khushi Kapoor’s Dreamy Debuts

Netflix has released the much-awaited trailer of Nadaaniyan, a romantic drama featuring Ibrahim Ali Khan with Khushi Kapoor making their Bollywood debuts. The film is directed by Shauna Gautam under Dharmatic Entertainment and is produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra. The film presents a new take on love in today’s times, full of drama, dilemmas, and surprising emotions.
At its essence, Nadaaniyan tracks Pia Jai Singh (Khushi Kapoor), a South Delhi socialite who is convinced love should go as planned. Standing opposite her is Arjun Mehta (Ibrahim Ali Khan), a hardworking, middle-class student aiming to be captain of his school’s debate club. When Pia convinces Arjun to pretend to be her boyfriend in a well-choreographed romantic ruse, they think they are in charge—until real feelings complicate their setup. What begins as a straightforward deal quickly unravels into unintended emotions, misunderstandings, and doubts about if love can indeed be written.
The movie boasts an impressive cast of supporting actors, including Mahima Chaudhary, Suniel Shetty, Dia Mirza, and Jugal Hansraj, enriching the story. For first-time director Shauna Gautam, Nadaaniyan is a close-to-heart venture that captures the uncertainty of youthful love.
“Directing Nadaaniyan has been a once-in-a-lifetime experience,” Gautam revealed. “Producing this story with Karan sir and Dharmatic Entertainment has been a dream come true. Working with Ibrahim on his debut has been an absolute joy.”
Filled with romance, drama, and the charm of youth, Nadaaniyan is all set to sweep viewers off their feet when it drops on March 7, only on Netflix.
