The Ramayana Research Council is collecting letters of gratitude addressed to the Prime Minister under the project titled “A Letter to Narendra Modi” to preserve the momentous occasion of the Pran-Pratishtha of Shri Ram Lalla in Ayodhya on January 22, 2024. The council is gathering these letters from various people across the country, with the aim of compiling 11,111 thank-you letters for Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Kumar Sushant, the General Secretary of the council, explained that this initiative is being undertaken because, under Narendra Modi’s leadership, the Supreme Court firmly supported the case for Ram Lalla, and it was under his guidance that the temple’s groundbreaking ceremony and the Pran-Pratishtha took place. He described the moment of January 22, 2024, as unique, likening it to the arrival of Ram Rajya. The council wants to keep this moment alive and is collecting heartfelt letters from people across various sectors, including labor, social, religious, political, bureaucracy, arts, sports, and corporate fields.
The council plans to complete the collection of these letters by January 22, 2026, marking the second anniversary of the Pran-Pratishtha. Once the compilation is complete, a delegation from the council will present this book of gratitude to the Prime Minister’s Office. They also aim to have this work displayed at the Prime Minister’s Museum and other major museums across the country.
