Passion and struggle are different things – Kapil Dev
New Delhi : Former captain of the Indian cricket team and World Cup winner Kapil Dev said that when a person makes his passion his profession, then the question of struggle ends there, because passion does not have struggle, but one’s own desire and happiness. He said that instead of impressing others, it is important to first recognize yourself, only then success will come to you. Kapil Dev was addressing the program after releasing the poetry collection ‘Udaan’ of cricket commentator and poet Padamjit Sehrawat at India International Center in New Delhi on Tuesday. Some inspirational poems of Sehrawat have been collected in the book. Kapil Dev quipped that there is no bigger thief than a cricketer, he steals runs. But his theft is also positive and such a positive attitude towards life is seen in the poems of Padamjit Sehrawat. Through ‘Udaan’, he has tried to show new, easy and inspiring ways of living life. Talking about his poetry collection, Padamjit Sahrawat said that through his poems, he has tried to guide the readers to move forward by taking inspiration from various situations of life. Apart from being a poet and cricket commentator, Padamjit Sahrawat is also a singer, musician and motivational speaker. He has participated in many prestigious tournaments, such as Ranji Trophy and Deodhar Trophy, and has also done commentary for various international sports channels. The wonderful amalgamation of music and motivation is the specialty of his personality. His singing style and inspirational thoughts provide new energy and confidence to people in difficult times of life.
