PM MODI’S 20 YEAR JOURNEY ON CANVAS

It has been more than 20 years since Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s journey from being the chief minister of Gujarat to third term as PM of India. His political vision, his ideology & his continuous effort for development have been realized on canvas by the artists from all over India from their imagination. An exhibition of painting and sculptures by artist from all over the country including Dubai is currently exhibited at the Dubai internation art center located at Jumeirah, Dubai.

The art exhibition Modi@20 international exhibition of paintings & sculptures organized by Suvadra Art Gallery, Bhubaneswar in association with Odia samaj UAE and Suryakheetra foundation, Odisha was inaugurated on 9th November 2024, by Shri Bishupada Sethi, Principal Secretary, Odia language & Culture, Govt. of Odisha – India presided by Dr. Surya Rath, Chairman Suvadra Art Gallery.

Dignitaries like Shri Pabitra Majumdar – Dupty Consul General of India in Dubai, Dr. Bipin Mishra, Chairman – Reception Committee & Suryakhetra Foundation for educational & Charitable trust, Odisha, Anjali Prakash Laitu – Renowned artist, Dubai, Ms Dyali Bhalia – Chairperson, Dubai International Art Centre, Dr Kulamani Biswal – Artist & Former Director NTPC & Dr Sukanti Mishra graced the occasion as guests and encourage the artist who have assembled from all over india and showcase their art works at Dubai the art Hub of Middle East Asia.

Speaking on the occasion the chief guest speaking on the occasion Shri Bishupada Sethi, praised the effort of Suvadra Art Gallery for organizing such an internation event at Dubai and said this exhibition is more than an art show, it is a confluence of creativity, heritage & the vibrant culture of India-UAE. This exhibition stands as a powerful tribute to the creative brilliance of our artists and is an opportunity to celebrate the rich cultural legacy of India abroad.

About 40 eminent & young artist from Odisha, Assam, Tripura, Gujrat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Delhi and 20 artist from Dubai took part in the exhibition and celebrated India-Odisha-UAE as a mark of cultural exchange. The exhibition has been curated by Ashok Nayak – Gallery Director along with Kaji Raghiv – Art Critic, Dr. Mihir Sahu – Educationist & Chitra Sukumaran. Mr. Amiya Mishra – President Odisha Samaj gave a vote of thanks on behalf of local organizing committee. This exhibition will opened to public till 11th November 2024.

Modi and Crown Prince
The paintings “The Modi and Crown Prince” by artist Rajmata Deepti Devi symbolizes warm relation between India & UAE. The installation “Modi & Tea Kettle” by artist Anup Chand was eye catching.
