Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal is currently making waves with his upcoming film Chhava, generating a lot of buzz as he actively promotes it. Along with this, he has been revealing exciting details about the film’s preparation.
Vicky’s look and transformation in the film have been making headlines. The actor shares that director Laxman Utekar was extremely particular about the portrayal of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Utekar refused to begin shooting until Vicky’s appearance truly embodied that of a real warrior. He emphasized that the film could not start unless Vicky’s look matched the authenticity of the character.
The film is scheduled for release on February 14. It is based on the life of the legendary warrior, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Rashmika Mandanna portrays the role of Maharani Yesubai in the film. Chhava is an adaptation of Shivaji Sawant’s novel Chhava. Directed by Laxman Utekar, it is produced by Dinesh Vijan under the banner of Maddock Films.
