The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to declare the results of Class 10 and Class 12 board exams for 2025 during mid to end of May, following past trends. Although the official date and time have not been declared, students can check the CBSE websites — cbse.gov.in and results.cbse.nic.in— periodically for updates.
After the results are announced, students can access them as follows:
1. Go to results.cbse.nic.in.
2. Click on the appropriate link — “CBSE 10th Result 2025” or “CBSE 12th Result 2025.”
3. Fill in your roll number, date of birth, and security pin.
4. Press ‘Submit’ to check your result.
5. Take a print-out or download the result for future reference.
Trending back to 2024 results, 21,84,117 students had enrolled for Class 10 exams, with 21,65,805 having appeared and 20,16,779 having passed — recording a pass percentage of 93.12%. For Class 12, 16,80,256 had enrolled, 16,60,511 had appeared, and 14,50,174 had passed, recording a pass percentage of 87.33%. In spite of a dip in Class 12 passing percentages, both classes had impressive academic performances.
The 2025 board exams commenced on February 15. Class 10 commenced with English papers and ended on March 18, whereas Class 12 started with Entrepreneurship and ended with Psychology on April 4.
