The event is being held at Bharat Mandapam, Dwarka’s Yashobhoomi, and the India Expo Center in Greater Noida.
The India Mobility Global Expo 2025 began on January 17 and will continue until January 22. This year’s event is special because, for the first time, 34 automobile companies are participating. This is the largest participation since the first Auto Expo in 1986. The official name of the event is ‘The Motor Show.’
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the expo and, in his speech, discussed the history and future of the Indian automobile sector. He also remembered two key figures of the industry, Ratan Tata and Osamu Suzuki. The Prime Minister stated, “India’s automobile industry is not only remarkable but also fully prepared for the future. I would also like to remember Ratan Tata and Osamu Suzuki, who played a significant role in the growth of the Indian auto sector and in fulfilling the dreams of the middle class.”
This year’s India Mobility Global Expo has also expanded significantly. In the previous event, over 800 exhibitors participated, and more than 1.5 lakh people visited. This time, the event is being held at three locations: Bharat Mandapam, Dwarka’s Yashobhoomi, and the India Expo Center in Greater Noida. The expo highlights India’s growing stature in the automobile sector and its technological innovations.
This event provides a major platform for the industry’s key players, showcasing the latest technologies and future trends like electric mobility. It is expected that this expo will give a new direction to the Indian automobile industry in the coming days.
